Work Experience

1978 - 1983 – Weyerhaeuser Technology Center, Federal Way, WA. 

1984 to Present – Sole owner and operator of Wells Enterprises, Inc. Designs, markets and oversees fabrication and installation of “Lazy Steam” Shower applications. Wells Enterprises has supplied equipment to more than 400 pulp and paper machines throughout the US and overseas.

Hobbies / Personal Accomplishments

Philip is an experienced (or accomplished?) outdoorsman and has climbed extensively, including the ascent of Mt McKinley (Alaska 1981 - 20,320 ft) and Cerro Aconcagua (Argentina 1983 - 22,834 ft), as well as more than 20 ascents of Mt. Rainier (WA State - 14,410 ft). He also made solo excursions to remote areas of Patagonia, the Himalyans, Western Canada and Alaska.
